Continued Updates

Ethan sporting his Batman PJ's...too cute! These pictures were taken back in June...Ethan was 8months old at the time. Summer '08 Ethan and I spent a fair amount of time taking bike rides around town. Hasting has a lot of nice, paved bike paths. He seemed to love being in the backpack and enjoying the ride. (6/17/08)
Most of the time it was extremely hot outside so when we got home Ethan was all about chewing on an ice cold teething ring! I love how relaxed he looks with his feet kick up on Ry's legs.Fast asleep after one of Ryan's football games this summer. (6/21/08)I decided to give him the teething ring prior to our departure on a bike ride...haha it would have been a great idea if Ethan wouldn't have thrown it on the ground. (6/24/08)Ethan especially loved swimming at Papa & Nana O'Malley's neighborhood pool. (6/28/08)Ethan and Nana O'Malley at the 4th of July parade in Afton, MN.Group shot of everyone waiting for the parade to start.Papa O'Malley holding the two little ones. At one point during the parade Ethan grabbed a cookie right out of Taylor's hand...haha the look on Taylor's face was priceless. After the parade we all headed back for a barbeque at Cindy & Joe's house. While the food was being cooked the kiddos played in the sandbox. Ethan couldn't decide what was more fun...seeing his shadow or eating sand.Daddy decided to bury Ethan's legs in the sand.Such a serious look! (His onesie says: Little Firecracker)All of the kids playing...notice Ethan is more interested in Taylor's shoes.Ryan and Ethan at the new bowling alley at Treasure Island. Like their matching t-shirts?! Ryan ordered them on his own; which in part is why I think they're so adorable.Ethan with his Nana O'Malley! (See the bruise on his forehead...yep it was his first BIG boo-boo. He tripped and fell, hitting his head on the metal of our bed frame. 10/9/08)
October 10th we went up to Ryan's Aunt Cheryl & Uncle Gary's Cabin in northern Minnesota. Sadly I only took this one picture. It was just beautiful up there. I did get to go fishing once, but didn't catch anything. October 17th we went out to Lake Elmo's Sun Country to pick out pumpkins! Here is Ethan in disguise as a killer pumpkin..haha!He wasn't interested in taking pictures...waaay more interesting things to check out.Katie & Ethan posing for a pic by the pumpkins.Nicole, Nick, Taylor, Katie, Ryan, Ethan, and myself. It was quite the challenge to take pictures. The sun was directly in our eyes and it was super windy out.Our fall family picture!
Papa & Nana O'Malley with their three grandchildren. Here we are trying to get together to take a picture right before the camera died.Ethan on a trailer of pumpkins...not too sure what he was thinking.
We had forgotten Ethan's coat...so Cindy tucked him into hers to keep him warm.
We waited until the 29th to carve them (at the last minute). As you may be able to gather it was slightly past his bedtime.
He had fun playing with the mush, he even decided to taste it at one point!Ethan was taking the mush and throwing it off the side of his highchair.
"What's on my head?"He is the cutest pumpkin I ever did see!Haha as you can imagine that didn't last too long. Ethan still loves his time in the bath tub, although he loves having your full attention. He was a little annoyed that I kept taking pictures and stopped helping him make bubbles.Ethan had his one year well child check a few weeks late, on October 31st. He weighed in at a healthy 24lbs 5oz!Ethan and I waiting to see Dr. Omann.
Ethan wore his batman costume when we left the clinic and caused quite a stir...everyone commented on how cute he was. Amazingly he left his batman mask on...shocked us all!! We left the clinic and went to visit my dad at work. They had to page my dad on their overhead system and they guy said "Frank to parts, batman is here to see you". We sure did surprise my dad!We went to Nick & Nicole's house and had pizza, then went trick-or-treating! Cindy, Joe, Rochelle, George, Tom & Skylar were there as well! Ethan went to most of the houses with the other three kids. He forgot to wipe away the evidence that he'd been eating chocolate!

Awww, adorable!

You still owe me a picture though. Bring it on Saturday to Christopher's party?
