1st Easter!!!

We started our day off by having brunch with Ryan's family in Woodbury.
Taylor playing with the little guy.
He was very interested in what she had to say!
Next we went to my Grandma's house in South Saint Paul. Dionna is such a sweetheart, she was giving Ethan kisses while he was laying on my lap.
Here is Ethan with my cousin Melissa.
Ryan took these pics while Ethan was on my lap getting his Easter basket. This adorable bunny he received kept his full attention for a few minutes.Check out Ethan's awesome Elmo Easter basket....does it get much cuter?!Ethan was too busy checking out his basket...no time to smile for the camera.Dionna with her light up egg...I must admit it was pretty cool!Dionna getting her Easter dress on. What a CUTIE!!!Ethan hanging out with Grandpa Schaffer.Grandpa had this really cool watch that Ethan couldn't take his hands off!
Ethan with his Great Auntie Char.
Auntie Char loving the kiddos!
It's hard work to keep to babies entertained.
Ry & Ethan having a father/son chat.
It would be a super cute picture if I had turned on the red eye correction...whoops!
Easter was a BIG day for our little man. He had two extremely short naps...both of which were interrupted. Here is how he looked when we finally got home!
So curious...Two cheeks, and two chins...haha!Such a happy boy!
Surprise!
He knows that he's a little charmer!

Saint Patty's Day!

This video is a little shaky because daddy was trying to record it himself while making Ethan laugh...his little laugh is so adorable!

Ethan now can sit on his own quite well!

He is definitely curious about EVERYTHING! In fact it is getting really hard to nurse him, especially in public. Even if he is "starving" he can't focus on eating...he's gotta look around and find out where the noise is coming from. Whether it be a TV, kids playing, adults talking, or a cell phone ringing...pretty much everything is a distraction.

He really likes this counting book. I think the bright colors capture his attention.

It is still hard to believe that we are parents sometimes. He is truly a blessing, and we absolutely love him to death. Not a day goes by that we don't think about how lucky we are to have such a perfect little boy.

Ethan is quite the talker as well. Right now it's mostly "baa baa baa baa" or "maa maa maa maa" and an occasional "ahh goo"!

Right before the big moment...Ethan's first hair cut!

It was a challenge to keep him still! Thankfully we had someone we REALLY trust cutting his hair, Ryan's mom!

Here is a little video clip of the action!!!

Ta-Da....oh so handsome! The tongue being out is also a new thing. I don't know if he just realized how great it is...or if he can feel how sharp his gums are. We are expecting a tooth to break through any day now!

More of his cute little laugh...he really loves to be tickled! (I apologize about the poor shot, I was holding the camera under my chin and tickling him with my free hand...tough work being a mom, haha!)

Ethan at his 6month check-up...on Saint Patrick's Day! He weighed in at 18lbs 4oz and is in the 75th percentile for weight. He is 25.4 inches long and is in the 25 percentile. His pediatrician looked at that and laughed. She said he must have been measured wrong, which is easy to do because he is such a wiggle worm! I'm not too worried about it...I am almost 5ft 10inches and Ryan is 6ft tall. There is no doubt in my mind that Ethan will be tall!
Finally, his head measured at 17.7inches...98th percentile!
Here is daddy and Ethan waiting for the doctor.
Mommy & Ethan!! Look at his cute rollie pollie self!!
We had to keep him entertained for awhile!
Here is the aftermath of the three shots he received. Aww it was really hard this time around, on both him and us!
He slept half of the way home and woke up really happy!
ALL SMILES!!There is that tongue again!
This video is HILARIOUS...his face expressions say how much he really loves green beans!
Here is the outfit Grandma & Grandpa Michalski sent to Ethan....perfect for this little O'Malley!
With a complimentary shamrock on his tush! HAHA!
CUTE!He sometimes gets a little case of road rage while driving.Look at his left arm, see how it is bent backwards!? For some reason he has been doing this ALL the time recently. It looks like it would be uncomfortable, but doesn't seem to phase him too much!BIG YAWN!! Playing all day long is hard work.
Instead of crawling he lifts all of his limbs up like he's pretending to swim.

Look, no hands!

So I had gotten this new fancy camera from my parents in January and I STILL don't know how to edit movies or photos...haha, sorry it's a work in progress!! Try to enjoy this one sideways!
