MN ZOO

Ethan loves to play out on the patio, especially with sidewalk chalk. And when mommy isn't "looking" he enjoys taking a little taste of the chalk...haha! These two pictures were taken as we were on our way out the door today...headed for the MN Zoo!!He wasn't too sure about riding the tortoise."Don't let go of me, mom!"
He was amazed by the komodo dragon.

We had a blast checking out all the different fish. Pretty sure Ethan wanted to go swimming with them...and tickle them. Haha the past few weeks he thinks its hilarious to tickle. He tickles us, stuffed animals, real animals...haha its quite cute.

We had such a great time checking out all of the animals. Neither Ryan nor I had been to the Minnesota Zoo in at least 10+years. I have a feeling we will be spending a lot more time there in the near future! Ethan ran around so much that by the time we got to the car he passed out.

Happy Easter 2009

Here's Ethan on Easter morning with the basket the Easter Bunny left for him.He seemed pretty excited!

Later in the morning we went to Grandma Schaffer's house for brunch, Easter baskets, and an Easter egg hunt! Here is Ethan with Auntie Char...they were playing with a few of the toys in his Easter basket.Ethan and Papa Frankie sporting their Twins' hats!!When we first went outside for the Easter egg hunt Ethan was definitely more interested in playing on the little playground.But daddy taught him to run around and scoop up eggs!And Mommy trailed behind with the bucket. After a few eggs he got the hang of it... Dionna during the egg hunt.
Although he was perfectly content with two eggs...one for each hand. Once the hands were full he was back to play on playground.The bigger kids had more challenging places to look for eggs...like up in this tree!!

Taylor's 3rd Birthday!

Thankfully for me it was daddy's turn to give Ethan a bath!Ethan has been quite the little stinker lately. He goes up to the TV and turns it off...then turns around to see your reaction. Of course once his picture was taken he was more interested in getting his hands on the camera.January 19th we went to Taylor's Birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. (This was Ethan's first time there.)He hasn't been feeling too well the past five days...so introducing him to Chuck E. Cheese didn't stir up too much of a reaction.Ryan got him all strapped into this virtual roller coaster. Again not much of a response from him.
Katie decided to join him!Ethan cruisin' with Chuck E. Cheese.I was able to capture his fake cranky face...it makes me laugh. What is even better is when he starts that faky business and he sees you laughing...it becomes really hard for him to keep the cranky face going. Daddy & Ethan playing one of the little kid games.
He is very serious when he gets behind the wheel.Haha...looks kind of sleepy here.Ryan and I may have been having more fun than Ethan!
